

Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Horan assumed the title, Chief Executive Officer of Columbus Neighborhood Health Center, Inc. in January 2008. As CEO, he oversees the strategic direction of the organization, implements CNHC policies and ensures the achievement of the organization’s mission and philosophy. Mr. Horan has an extensive background working in leadership roles. Prior to his post at CNHC he served as the Deputy Commissioner for the City of Columbus Public Health Department for 20 years. In that role, he directed all areas of operation for the Columbus Public Health Department, including overseeing the construction and renovation of the new Health Department facility in 2001. He also served as the Health Department representative in City Council and Mayoral meetings. In 1997, Mr. Horan played a pivotal role in the development of Columbus Neighborhood Health Center, Inc. He remained on the CNHC Board of Directors until October 2006, when he retired. Mr. Horan believes so much in the vision and success of CNHC, that he agreed to take on the role of Interm CEO in early January 2008. Since his arrival he has been an innovative voice of change and guides the organization towards a bright future. Mr. Horan earned a Masters of Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor in Political Science from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. |
