


Clinical Services Director
Pearline Byrd is Clinical Services Director of Columbus Neighborhood
Health Center, Inc.(CNHC). She provides oversight to Pharmacy Services,
and aspects of clinical services. She has over 25 years experience
in the health care industry ranging from hospital to primary health care.
Ms. Byrd began her career as a neuro step down nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Because she had a passion to provide preventive
care she accepted a position as Director of Special Health Services at a community health center. Under her leadership a social service and outreach component was developed for health center patients and the homeless population. Quality improvement, program development, building community partnerships, and working toward healthier communities is her focus.
She currently serves as a trustee for the NetCare Board of Directors, chair of the Urban League Health Services Advisory, and a past member of the National Health Care for the Homeless Council. Ms. Byrd has received a number of service awards; CNHC leadership, The Byrd Medallion, American Red Cross, Columbus Coalition for the Homeless Annual Achievement, American Cancer Society, and others. Ms.Byrd is known in the community for advocacy, dedication, as a valuable administrator and Public leader in community health.
Ms. Byrd earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University.
