Dr. Parminder Bajwa joined Columbus Neighborhood Health Center (CNHC), Inc. in November 2008 as a Quality Improvement Coordinator bringing with her over 18 years of clinical and business experience. In 2009 Dr Bajwa was promoted to Director of Risk Management/Quality Improvement. Her duties include addressing all Risk Management issues of the organization, including, development and implementation of Risk Management Plan for CNHC; and serving on the Risk Management Board. Monitor quality operations; to ensure organization wide integration and consistency with CNHC Quality Assurance Plan. Dr Bajwa received her degree in medicine from India. She received her certification (MRCOG) in Gynecology and Obstetrics and post graduate degree in Business & Administration from University at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. Dr Bajwa earned her second MBA from University of New York at Buffalo.  Dr. Bajwa started her career working for underserved communities in India providing full OB and Gyne services to the patients. With research experience, some publications in hand and WHO scholarship she practiced Gyne and Obs in Kenya, Nigeria, and Indonesia. She has also practiced Obstetrics in Taif, Saudi Arabia and developed Women’s Health Program at KingFahdHospital. While in UK Dr Bajwa was employed with National Health Service at Thanet GeneralHospital and RoyalVictoriaInfirmaryHospital and Newcastle GeneralHospital. Dr Bajwa was actively involved in planning, developing and implementing European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Model for these hospitals. Dr Bajwa also designed and implemented “Leadership and Mentoring Program” for Buffalo GeneralHospital and “Quality Improvement Program” for Pediatric residents at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Prior to her employment with CNHC she was employed as a Director at General Dentistry Hospital, California.
