Help Continue the Efforts of PrimaryOne Health

In 1997, through an initiative of the City of Columbus, seven Community Health Centers joined forces to form Columbus Neighborhood Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system. These Community Health Centers became community beacons, offering health care among other services in high-risk communities. In May 2015, with newly appointed President and CEO, Charleta B. Tavares, and the ever-expanding list of services and site locations, Columbus Neighborhood Health Centers became PrimaryOne Health.

PrimaryOne Health receives federal, state and local funding to address the healthcare needs of the “medically underserved” in Central Ohio. Unfortunately, while these funds are a huge help in the work that we do in creating access to quality, comprehensive healthcare options, it does not always cover the costs of services rendered to some of our patient populations. Contributions from individuals and organizations alike, help to afford some of our most vulnerable patients quality health services that we all need to build a healthier community.
